Here is another festival inspired outfit, one of many that will be a part of my diaries this month. This was in my opinion a more classy less conventional festival style look. Also I normally use my phone to edit all my pictures but this time I did the raw+Lightroom thing, took more time but I like the result better (although the quality looks like it could be worse because I added some grain). Either way gilt.com sent me to find some stuff on their site for festival season and I went with this gorgeous jacket from Diane Von Furstenberg. I paired it with some free people shorts, a Zara tank top, and some keds. I’ll link some similar items below, and of course gilt is having a festival sale at the moment so go check that out as well.
I absolutely love Harry Potter, the series was a huge part of my childhood and still is a huge part of me today. Last year when Alan Rickman passed while I was rereading the series over the holidays and it felt like I lost a family member. You guys can’t imagine how excited I was to finally go to Harry Potter World, it opened a while ago but I wanted to go with my mom and we’ve been going back and forth to Russia this year so we didn’t have the opportunity until now. It was pretty good but definitely not as exciting as I thought it would be. There were way too many people and it felt like being in a theme park not at hogsmeade. We were also there with family so I couldn’t let my crazy fan girl out, and I think I would’ve had more fun had I not worried about seeming like a five year old. The castle was spectacular inside, I will say that. They had a bunch of details from the books, and the ride at the end of the castle was fun, I wish it was 3D thought, I heard it was but they took that out a week before we went. There’s not even a question of whether it’s worth it, I 100% recommend it if you’re a fan of the series.
A note on the walking dead thing, I thought it was amazing they had a walking dead attraction because Harry Potter and the Walking Dead are my most favorite series of all time ever. All they need is some sort of F.R.I.E.N.D.S ride and this place could be renamed Julia’s favorite things.

So I haven’t posted in a bit, but I’m working on so many side projects right now that I feel too overwhelmed to post on my blog. Which is kind of the reason why I get to do these side project so I should probably respect the space. Either way I’ve been working on some website design and branding for some other bloggers, as well as trying to be more creative in this space. I feel like the posts that I like more are ones that are a little bit weird and a little bit different, which is why I’ve been trying to change things up on my Instagram as well. I keep trying to make it like an endless collage, but it’s turning out to be a little bit more difficult than I thought it would, I’m going to try to keep it up for little bit longer but if I can’t figure how to post more frequently I’m gonna have to just go back to regular posting. I’ve also been doing a lot more doodles on my Instagram, which are again really fun, very time-consuming. Other than that I’ve been focusing on some design projects and getting my e-commerce stores ready for the holiday season. Also let me know what you guys think of these collages cause they’re pretty fun an I’m considering more posts like these.
