So I thought why not do a Halloween inspired post on my blog while we are still in those Halloween weekend vibes. I’m a huge fan of the movie Leon: The Professional. It’s one of the only moves that makes me cry without fail. Even finding a quote from the movie to caption my photo with made me a little teary eyed. If you haven’t seen this movie yet I highly suggest you do, the writing is incredible, the acting is amazing the plot is fantastic, and Luc Besson ties it all together brilliantly. And above all those things baby Portman is in this movie, and what could be better than that. I saw this wig at ALDO and immediately thought it would be perfect for a Mathilda costume. Although short (or black) hair doesn’t work that well with my face, I thought all together the grungy look was cute. I didn’t have a medium sized potted plant at my house, so I just took some pictures at a grocery store. That’s not weird right? Anyways hope you guys had a fun, safe Halloween! And hope you’re all excited for the adventures the new month will bring. Lots new content on here for nablogwrimo, stick with me, it’ll be fun.
I dug through my closet today and discovered this military green shirt and thought I’d do another cargo jacket look alike post. I love this color especially in the fall. I found some cute shorts to match and the top I’m wearing under that shirt is from the Daniel Roberts for forever21 collection. I’m also wearing a black studded wrap bracelet and some beige booties both also from forever 21. I usually avoid forever21 shoes but I got these for like $20 and they’re super comfy, I love them. Lastly I have my favorite bag of all time my little Mark Jacobs, its my absolute obsession.
I’ve been completely obsessed with cargo jackets and eagerly searching for one that fits me perfectly. I recently decided to splurge on this Current/Elliot jacket I’ve been eyeing at Nordstrom. It’s a little more than I would normally spend on a jacket but I was absolutely in love. Although its meant to be a shirt, the quality is so spectacular that it passes for a jacket. I also absolutely love the faded camo print I think it adds a nice detail and makes the jacket look more interesting. I paired the jacket with some cute accessories and booties from Forever21 and shorts form Zara. Anyways I took lots of pictures, hope you like them! <3
Thanks so much for reading!
