Here is our last stop on the desert X road trip, the Mirage by Doug Aitken, which I’ve been calling the mirror house, along with everyone else on Instagram. This place was breathtaking, the fact that we got here when the sun was setting and the sky was pink made it even more incredible, but the house itself is absolutely beautiful. If you make it out to just one of the desert x exhibits, I obviously suggest this one, the pictures turned out gorgeous. Go around closing time to get that pink sunset sky reflecting in all of your pictures.
I’m wearing a black asymmetrical minkpink dress, which I got on sale for like $30, and I think it looks amazing against the mirror/pink backdrop. Also wearing my all-time favorite boots from Top Shop, despite having a higher heel than what I normally wear, these are the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever put on my feet. I suggest you go out and get yourself a pair immediately, cause they’re amazinggggg. The jean jacket present in a couple of the pictures was a $5 thrift store find (and is now one of my favorite items in my closet).
So this is the second place we went to in desert X. This work is called curves and zigzags by Claudia Comte. It’s big painted white wall in the middle of the desert. I think this one is also definitely worth seeing, the pictures here came out pretty amazing. All the shots were again taken by Genie of GallivantingBean, check out her blog it’s amazing.
This white romper is from Abercrombie and Fitch, definitely one of my favorites super cute and very comfy. The bralette I just got from forever 21, they have some really great ones there all very cute and super cheap. Lastly the boots are my favorites from topshop😍 the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn.
I have one last post from desert X, my favorite one, coming up in a few days. Make sure to subscribe to see it 💘💘
Here is another festival inspired outfit, one of many that will be a part of my diaries this month. This was in my opinion a more classy less conventional festival style look. Also I normally use my phone to edit all my pictures but this time I did the raw+Lightroom thing, took more time but I like the result better (although the quality looks like it could be worse because I added some grain). Either way gilt.com sent me to find some stuff on their site for festival season and I went with this gorgeous jacket from Diane Von Furstenberg. I paired it with some free people shorts, a Zara tank top, and some keds. I’ll link some similar items below, and of course gilt is having a festival sale at the moment so go check that out as well.
